His photographs are distinguished by a simple composition and Spartan entourage, but at the same time they do not leave anyone indifferent. Sanders is a supporter of natural female beauty, so the girls in his pictures do not dazzle with bright makeup and pretentious poses. They are taken directly from life and fascinate with their naturalness. (Careful! Nude).
Brock Sanders started photographing in elementary school. At the age of 10, his parents gave him a simple Diana film camera for his birthday, and since then Sanders has been shooting. Over the years, he has changed many different cameras, but he has never changed the good old film technology.
But Sanders began not with portrait, but with landscape photography. He was born and raised in California, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, and most of his first works are devoted to the mighty elements.
Sanders is sure that film photos are alive and it's hard to disagree with him. Looking at his portraits, we can say that they are girls from the neighboring entrance, captured by chance, without preparation.
But behind every work of Sanders there is painstaking work, because the film does not forgive mistakes. For novice photographers, Brock recommends carrying a camera everywhere. He believes that it is necessary to shoot as often as possible and it does not matter if no one appreciates this work. But it will develop its own style, which will become a reliable foundation for future success.
Another photographer whose life was determined by a camera donated as a child is Norwegian Solve Sundsbo
