He captured how brave divers feed a huge hammerhead shark with their hands. Such sharks are very aggressive, they can grow up to 6 meters long and weigh more than 450 kg.
These fish live in tropical and warm temperate waters of all oceans, and in winter they are especially often found off the coast of the Bahamas, where shallow waters warm up especially well. During this period, the breeding season takes place.
Being potentially dangerous, these sharks rarely attack people, but at the same time they are the target of targeted commercial fishing.
Hammerhead fish are known as one of the most aggressive hunters in the ocean, they feed on small fish, octopus, squid and crustaceans.
Hammerhead sharks are so named because of their hammer-shaped head and widely spaced eyes, which give them a better visual range than most other sharks. Observations led to the conclusion that with the help of a "hammer" they immobilize the tailers, which are their favorite prey.
Due to its large size and large teeth, the giant hammerhead shark is certainly capable of causing fatal injuries to humans. This species has (perhaps undeservedly) a reputation for aggression and is the most dangerous of the hammerhead shark family.
Some scuba divers report that giant hammerhead sharks, as a rule, behave timidly, or do not express interest in people. However, there are reports that they swam close to scuba divers and even attacked when diving swimmers into the water.
But the brave photographer Ken Kiefer II even looked into the shark's mouth.
