Body art on the hips from the Jordanian artist Randa Haddadin

Modern artists paint pictures on a variety of materials: on canvas, paper, porcelain, concrete walls and, of course, on the human body. It is the body art that can be considered the direction that the artist from Jordan Randa Haddadin (Randa Haddadin) chose for herself. However, she differs from other masters of body painting in that she uses not models as a canvas, but herself, or rather, her hips.

Randa Haddadin's works are similar to highly professional colored tattoos with architectural and floral motifs or portraits of people. They are stylish, refined and are distinguished by high detail and precision of lines. I can't even believe that such paintings can be painted in such an unusual place for creativity.

Randa is not just attracted to beautiful buildings and precision – she is an architect by education. Haddadin received her bachelor's degree from the University of Jordan in 2009, and now lives and works in Dubai. It is worth adding that Randa is a little Russian, since she was born in Russia.

Therefore, among her works you can see Orthodox cathedrals, Moscow avenues and wildflowers that are not peculiar to the Middle East. When Randa is asked about how she came up with the idea of drawing on her thighs, she answers with a bit of humor:

Then, seriously, she says that her drawing on the skin began with the desire to get a tattoo. The girl did a lot of sketches on the body, but she could not choose a suitable plot. And then she realized that a tattoo is not necessary, because you can decorate yourself with new works at least every day!

Once drawing on the hips began as a hobby, but now, when almost 200 thousand connoisseurs of her work are subscribed to the girl's Instagram account, Randa can be called a famous artist.
