St. Petersburg Chbkafe on the embankment of the Moika River will remind you of your childhood and love for " razukrashkam»…
In St. Petersburg, on the Moika Embankment, 29, the second black-and-white coffee shop in Russia has opened (there is also a similar cafe in Moscow). A cozy coffee shop with breakfast and desserts lurks in the archway. The main secret of the restaurant is not an interesting coffee card or raspberry tartlets, but a black and white interior.
The whole room inside looks like a painted one, and the creators managed to achieve this effect with the help of white paint and black lines that make the image three-dimensional.
The interior of the cafe, created by Russian artist Anfisa Toshina, looks like a charcoal drawing on a sheet of white paper, creating the illusion that you are the only three — dimensional object in a two-dimensional world.
The staff of the unusual public space completed all the repairs and design with their own hands in 35 days.
The menu of Chbkafe includes coffee classics and cocktails with coffee: raf and mocachino. In addition to coffee, cascara and matcha are brewed, non-alcoholic mulled wine and milkshakes are prepared. From food-classics for breakfast: quiche with chicken, several types of sandwiches, oatmeal and granola. For dessert-cakes, cheesecakes and eclairs.
There is nothing new in the concept of the interior a la coloring book. It was first introduced in South Korea by the designers of the Yeonnam-dong 239-20 cafe, and since then it has been adopted by entrepreneurs in different countries.
Chbkafe is very similar to the cafe Yeonnam-dong 239-20, but this is not surprising, given the style of interior design, and for Europeans who can not visit the South Korean cafe, this is a great chance to have a cup of coffee in the 2D world and at the same time make a spectacular photo.
