One of the "qualities" of Batman, or rather his alter ego Bruce Wayne, was that he was a rich man. Hence the expensive Batmobiles, all sorts of superhero trinkets and other things that make the work of the Man-Bat easier. But what if Bruce had been born in a poor quarter of some town, without a penny to his soul? At the same time, his desire to do good and bring justice would be so strong that he would still take on the job of a superhero ... albeit in his shorts. It was this turn of events that a very talented and creative photo gang from Brazil called MAFIA took as the basis for their photo project.
