Art for an Hour – Tony Plant and his paintings on the sand

It interacts with the environment — paints stones, draws paths in the snow, tints the water — and then leaves his labors to nature, which quickly returns his "canvases" to their original natural state.

These drawings in the sand are another example of his "temporary" art. While working on each of his drawings, Plant spends hours on the shore, using a rake to create lines and circles in the sand. These beautiful geometric patterns will not last long, they will be washed away very quickly by waves or trampled by surfers and other lovers of walking on the beach. Each fleeting picture and the time of its existence depends on a specific site and is beyond the control of the author.
