By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/animals-that-blew-up-the-internet.htmlOur smaller brothers often make headlines, but sometimes some of their representatives become real sensations. This issue will focus on those representatives of wildlife who simply blew up the Internet.

1. Dogs now also have heroes that can motivate them to do great things. When the boxer Duncan Lu was still very young, he had to amputate both hind legs. However, the front two are enough for an energetic dog, and thanks to walks on them, Duncan Lou has already managed to become an Internet star. He has a wheelchair (it's well taken care of after all), but he himself prefers to use it as little as possible - and why, when he has two such strong paws!
2. An adorable cross-eyed cat named Spangles became a real Internet sensation after his owner from South Carolina posted his photos on her Facebook page. The three-year-old cat was born on July 4, Independence Day, and received a nickname in honor of the festive fireworks (from the English "spangles" - "sparkles"). His mistress, 25-year-old Mary Buchanan, often dresses her pet in funny costumes. According to the girl, strabismus does not prevent her pet from running briskly, eating well and generally being cheerful and healthy.
3. Probably the most fearless cat in the world lives in Queensland, Australia. One day, a cat named Nitro was attacked by a fox terrier. Nitro escaped by jumping onto a surf lying in the pool and swam to a safe distance, leaving the dog with his nose. Of course, Nitro is no ordinary cat. His owner is a professional animal trainer and Nitro was trained to surf. The coach's neighbor managed to capture the entire chase on camera. Now Nitro has become the hero of the Internet.
4. Meet Boo, Facebook's most followed dog. When the owner of a funny and positive dog, Boo, decided to post photos of her pet on Facebook, she didn’t even imagine what it would lead to. A lot of people liked the cute face of the dog, and in just a couple of months, each photo began to receive 10-25 thousand “Likes” on this social network.
5. An elephant named Lak Chai can be called an Australian celebrity. First, Lak Chai was the first Asian elephant to be born on the Green Continent. Secondly, the baby elephant, as it turned out, loves to kick the ball very much. Lak Chai plays football under the watchful eye of his mother. Lac Chai has become a favorite of Australians almost from the first days of life.
6. This completely ordinary-looking cat has an amazing ability - it attracts metal objects! Kotofey - a magnet can take its rightful place among the most dexterous burglars: it attracted about 20 bunches of keys belonging to neighbors. At first, no one could unravel the mystery of the missing keys, until one day Kirsten, Milo's mistress, saw her striped friend sneaking around with someone's bundle magnetized to the fur at the throat. In fact, Milo does not have any superpowers - the owner simply provided the cat with a magnetic collar so that he could open the metal door.
7. In the US state of California, a competition was held for the title of the ugliest dog in the world. The winner was a mongrel named Yoda - a cross between a Chihuahua and a Chinese crested dog. The key to the success of the dog was the growing shreds of hair, tongue hanging from the mouth and hairless paws. Yoda weighs just under a kilogram.
8. In the middle of the last century, the American artist Charles M. Schultz invented and painted the dog Snoopy, an anthropomorphic beagle that gained mass popularity. And today, a cat from China, whose name is Snoopy the dog, has achieved worldwide fame. Probably, this wonderful animal, from whose sad face you can’t just pick up and tear yourself away, is the most popular representative of the cat family in the world. His owner, Miss Ning, says she did not expect such a hype around her pet when she started posting images of him online. Snoopy has a page in all world-famous social networks: 190 thousand people follow him on Instagram, 275 thousand people follow him on Weibo - the Chinese analogue of Twitter. He even has his own Facebook page.
9. The painting horse has become an internet sensation. A horse named Cholla is not just a pet, she is an artist. Her paintings are even exhibited in Italy.
