The company SmithFly from Ohio has released a novelty to the tourist goods market — the first of its kind floating tent, which will allow you to relax right on the surface of the reservoir.

This innovation is called Shoal Tent and is an inflatable boat with a comfortable mattress, which is located inside a sturdy tent attached to the boat. The dimensions of the tent and the inflatable boat are the same, the design looks holistic, original and attractive.
The unique floating tent blurs the boundaries of camping, travel and outdoor recreation. It does not require the installation of supports to support the structure and at the same time is completely inflatable, and the air pressure inside it is enough for the tent to withstand strong winds.
The tent consists of three air chambers: two in the lower part and one in the structure itself. The thickness of the floor is approximately 15 cm, the tent is waterproof and closes with eight heavy-duty zippers.
The size of the structure is 2.44 by 2.44 meters, so that up to six people can be in it at the same time. The floating tent weighs 34 kg and sells for $1,499. SmithFly accepts pre-orders for the new product, and it will be delivered to customers in December of this year or in January 2018.
