Brent is a US Marine Corps veteran, sound engineer/photographer/videographer/social media marketing consultant.
After 5 years of service in the Marine Corps and deployment to In Iraq, Brent plunged into the audio/visual world, working on documentaries with Forbes magazine, creating commercials and shooting music videos for bands and events across the United States.
He received a bachelor's degree in psychology at The University of Southern Maine, to better understand people and answer his question about why a particular work of art or music resonates with someone.
Adopting a scientific approach and creating a connection between art and the brain is what attracts Brent Shavnor's work.
