The previous owners abandoned him to the mercy of fate, throwing him out near the Shell gas station in the Brazilian town of Mogi das Cruzis. And when Sabrina Plannerer and her partner bought this station, they noticed a stray dog who, apparently, was still hoping that they would come back for her. Surely most people would just drive the unfortunate animal away, but not Sabrina.

"We took him to ourselves immediately, took him to the vet. We bought him food, a dog house and a leash."

The new owners not only loved the dog, they even gave her a job. Nigao has a cap and a gas station employee card.

Moreover, the dog turned out to be an excellent employee, kind and friendly.

"Nigao is waiting for someone to arrive. Then he comes up to the client to say hello, wagging his tail with might and main. Our regular customers love it very much. They even bring him toys."
