Colleen Moore is one of the most popular and highly paid Hollywood actresses of the beginning of the last century. They say she had two passions — cinema and dolls. Many of the fifty films in which Colleen shone are lost. But the incredible dollhouse, which she collected for seven years, has been preserved. Now its approximate estimated value ranges between 500 thousand and a million dollars.

Professional designers helped the actress to collect this work of art (three meters in length, two in height). Each room is worked out to the smallest detail and has a pronounced style. The richness of details is amazing. For example, there is a mini version of King Arthur's Round Table in the main hall. And the table service placed on it is a copy of what is used in Windsor Castle.
Very expensive materials were used in the decoration. The doors are made of ivory, the floors are made of noble woods, natural rose quartz and jade. The windows in the bedroom are decorated with real stained glass windows, and the icon's salary, which hangs in the "Russian room", is studded with diamonds.
Among one and a half thousand miniature objects there are real artifacts: a tiny Bible, a pistol that shoots silver bullets, a platinum ring with diamonds, gold candelabra… There is water flowing in the alabaster tub, and there is a separate switch for each room.
During the Great Depression, this dollhouse traveled to the cities of the USA. That's how Colleen raised money for charity. In 1949, the actress donated her creation to the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. You can still see him there now.
