A couple in love from California recently arranged an engagement photo shoot in St. Jim's Canyon and invited photographer Janet Wheeland. And here a very unexpected meeting was waiting for them. No, not with a deer or a bear, but with the heaviest metal band.
This is Coldvoid, a band whose website says that they like to "dive into the depths of the unknown in this world of chaos." Well okay.

It turned out that a local black metal band was also filming their photo shoot dedicated to the theme of the full moon. Wheeland noticed the musicians and lured them to participate in the engagement photo shoot of John and Nydia. The result was truly epic. And a little sinister.
"When you encounter a black metal band in the woods during an engagement photo shoot, you need to invite them to join," the photographer believes. By the way, she even did a special mini-session with the musicians.
"It was a completely random encounter," said Dismal, one of the musicians. — Our drummer Zack's girlfriend filmed us for the band's photos. A couple came up to us with a photographer, we chatted, and then they asked to be photographed, and we gladly agreed."
It turned out that John Owsam had once played in a metal band himself. It's probably fate. Ousam would like their entire photo shoot to be with the band.
It seems that the musicians also liked the shooting. They put a photo with a couple in love on the cover of their Facebook page.
Of course, in the end, not all of the engagement photo shoot was about a metal band. Actually, it was planned to be made in the style of the movie "Forrest Gump". Life is like a box of chocolates: you never know what kind of metalhead you'll get.
