This guest house in Malvern Link, England, is ideal in this regard, if you are not confused by the sound of wheels over your ear: it stands literally on the tracks.

The house on Malvern Link was built in the 1800s for the stationmaster responsible for the smooth operation of the railway. In the 1960s, the station was destroyed, but the building was not touched. In 2016, Lee and Chloe Bone bought the house and restored it.

Now the former stationmaster's house has become a five-star guest house for travelers who like railway romance: here you can enjoy the sound of wheels and train horns, and the windows offer a picturesque view of the rails. There is also an outdoor veranda where guests can dine while sitting literally at the station.

For a week of staying in a guest house, you will have to pay a little more than a thousand dollars.
