A photo of an unusual dog was shown to the world by a user under the nickname emceegrath. His friend Chantal Desjardins, as befits animal owners, regularly posted photos of the dog on Facebook and did not even suspect that there was something unusual about him.

But the commenters on Reddit immediately saw something was wrong.
