A black hole in the living room

By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/a-black-hole-in-the-living-room.htmlArtist Scott Jarvie has developed a rug with an optical illusion: from a certain point it looks like a void. Jarvie wanted this piece of interior to have something more than just a drawing on a flat surface. The illusion is achieved by a careful combination of perspective, light and texture.

A round rug is suitable for large spaces, and a rectangular one is suitable for narrow rooms and corridors. Both are made of merino wool.
