A 3-year-old boy promised to marry his girlfriend and 20 years later he did it

The first love in kindergarten is perhaps the most innocent and incredibly sweet, but, unfortunately, fleeting. There is still elementary school ahead, and new loves are waiting there. Although there are exceptions.

Laura Scheel and Matt Grodsky met just in kindergarten. And one of Matt's first memories is connected with Laura. "I was three years old. I remember standing in front of the whole kindergarten group, saying out loud that I would definitely marry her someday."

But then the guys went to different schools, and their paths diverged. They met again only in high school with a mutual friend. Just two weeks later, they started dating. And in December 2016 they got married.

"We did everything together in kindergarten," says Laura.

Matt: "I remember trying to impress her during the holiday and break the pinata."

"I was the only one who succeeded. It seems to have caught her attention."

In May 2015, Matt proposed again.

And the guy decided to do it in the kindergarten where they met. The whole trip, Laura couldn't figure out why they were going there.

And Matt kept feeling the ring in his pocket all the way to make sure it was in place.

"I got down on one knee, and my brother immediately took out his phone and started filming."

"Laura was shocked." She said yes.

And in December 2016, the couple got married.
