A 17-year-old girl struggling with cancer starred in a bold photo shoot without a wig

Andrea Sierra Salazar believes that cancer will not prevent her from being a princess. Since the age of 13, Andrea has been in love with the world of models and photo shoots. And her photography in the style of a fairy kingdom, for which the girl was filmed as she really looks, that is, bald and without a wig, proves that Andrea is beautiful without hair. However, the girl did not always have self-confidence and courage noticeable in every photo.

One day Andrea woke up and felt a slight pain in her neck, as if she was sleeping in an uncomfortable position. She rubbed her neck with her hand and felt the lump. Doctors diagnosed stage 2 lymphoma, and treatment began. Soon the girl began to lose her hair, and with them her self-confidence.

Andrea shared that everything was fine with her self-esteem before chemotherapy. She tried experimenting with wigs, but it didn't work out, she didn't like wearing them at all.

And then she agreed to be photographed by photographer Gerardo Garmendia. At first, Andrea was afraid to even show up without a wig, let alone be photographed.

But then she realized that she had no reason to be ashamed of the way she looked. "I should be proud. This photo shoot should show not only external beauty, but also internal."

The photo shoot instantly spread in social networks. Internet users thanked Andrea not at all for the beautiful photos, but for the idea that lies behind the dress and makeup.

A girl without a wig inspired exactly the same teenagers struggling with the disease.
