What you see in the second picture is a rare type of fireflies that have been found only in this region and are called Arachnocampa luminosa.
When you go to forests like this, you can suddenly stumble upon Mycena chlorophos and feel like you're in a psychedelic movie.
Just once a year, whole groups of fireflies glow at the same time, turning the forest into a beautiful picture.
The Northern Lights are widely known all over the world, despite the fact that it can be seen in only a few places.
The red flashes in the photo are not just fire, it is sulfur vapor, which turns into a glow from the melting rock, which creates the illusion of a beautiful night sunset.
The soil in this area in Bolivia is so flat, and there is so little interference on the horizon line, that the feeling of depth is completely lost.
You can find similar glowing mushrooms in the forests of North America. In the photo — one of the 70 varieties that glow due to the oxidation of a pigment called luciferin.
What you see in the lower photo is a glowing squid. They are usually found in those parts of the sea where it is too deep for people to see them.
The water in the cave looks luminous due to the light that comes from outside.
