In May 2015, a Romanian girl burned to death after accidentally touching a high-voltage wire while trying to take a selfie of the year on top of a train. 18-year-old Anna Ursu with her friend came to the railway station of the city of Iasi to take a "special selfie", which was then planned to be posted on Facebook. She lay down on the roof of the car, lifted her legs up and accidentally snagged one of the high voltage cables. An electric current of 27,000 volts instantly passed through the girl's body. Despite all the efforts of passers-by, it was not possible to save Anna: she died in the hospital from 50% burns.

The resuscitators managed to start the girl's heart, but later she died anyway in the traumatology department.

Ksenia was a photography lover, her great passion was taking selfies on a camera, which the girl bought at the end of 2013 after a summer job. Her life was cut short when she decided that the railway bridge was the best place for a cool photo.
