1. Kate Foster, gymnast (17 years old)
In 2011, due to a terrible diagnosis (acute myeloid leukemia), a 17-year-old gymnast lost her leg. However, 3 years after the operation, the girl returned to the sport and started practicing 3 times a week. Last year, the gymnast took part in competitions and continues to practice on a par with the rest to this day.
2. Jesse Quinn, fitness model (24 years old)
9 years ago, Jessie lost her leg due to cancer, but managed to overcome depression and even became a successful blogger on Instagram. Now the girl leads a very active lifestyle: she swims, runs, performs strength exercises and takes part in Nike projects.
3. Sergey Kutovoy, fitness blogger (21 years old)
The story of this guy from Arkhangelsk really excited the whole country. 4 years ago, Sergey was overweight, until he was 19, he didn't even have a girlfriend and he never kissed. But then a tragedy happened in Sergei's life: a young man was hit by a truck, as a result of which his leg was amputated. In the hospital, the guy recovered to 110 kg, but then pulled himself together and began to play sports. 4. Paola Antonini, model (21 years old)
In 2014, Paola experienced a terrible tragedy: she was hit by a car and the girl lost her leg. Thanks to the prosthesis, Paola can lead a full life, so she is engaged in dancing and fitness, skateboarding and riding. 5. Jessica Van Zijl, activist (23 years old)
Due to a rare form of melanoma, this student from Australia lost an eye. If she hadn't removed the eye, the cancer would have spread throughout the body. The fact is that Jessica herself knew very little about her illness at that time. Therefore, the girl decided to raise public awareness about this disease. And she has also developed a collection of headbands, which presents both casual and elegant models.
6. Kanya Sass, athlete and model (25 years old)
Kanya Sass was born without legs, and the mother left the baby at the foot of a Buddhist temple. At the age of 5, together with her foster parents, the girl moved to the States, where she began a modeling career. Kanya is currently actively training on a skateboard to take part in the 2018 Winter Paralympics. 7. Rebecca Marine, model (30 years old)
Born without an arm, Rebecca was able to build a successful career on the podium. The girl even took part in New York Fashion Week twice. Marina believes that very soon her photo will decorate the cover of Vogue.
8. Bethany Hamilton, surfer (27 years old)
A native of Hawaii, Bethany Hamilton is an ardent fan of surfing. At the age of 13, Bethany's life was under threat: due to a shark attack, the girl lost her arm and almost died from blood loss. But the tragedy did not break the young surfer. Now Bethany is a titled athlete, wife and mother, as well as the author of the book "Soul Surfer".

Everyone knows this incredibly motivating young man for sure. Due to tetraamelia syndrome, Nick has been missing all limbs since birth. But, despite this, he lives an absolutely full life, although in his youth the young man was visited by thoughts of suicide. Nick has learned to walk, swim, write, work on a computer, and he is also the father of two boys.
