This University of Texas biomedical sciences graduate embarked on a long journey to make his dreams come true before taking up the practice of medicine in earnest. Alex filmed everything with a camera and a camera. By the way, this photo project, called "Modern Motorcycle Diaries", has become not only a personal project, but also a charitable event - the proceeds go to the non-profit organization "Children of Uganda".

1. The journey began in El Paso, Texas, where Alex packed up his things, packed them on his motorcycle and hit the road - south.
2. He traveled through South America and finally reached Ushuaia in Argentina, which is called the southernmost city in the world.
3. Then he returned north, heading to the US all the way to Alaska. After that, he returned home to Texas.
4. His incredible expedition took 503 days, during which time he covered 132,704 km and visited 22 countries in North and South America.
5. “I drove half the world alone – highways, freeways, dirt roads, off-road, rivers, hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, rain, hail, sun, snow, ice. And I'm back!"
