6 Best Photo Stories for Father's Day

1. The "best" dad in the world.

Let's start with the American father, who has an official holiday today. This is photographer Dave Engledow. Don't be alarmed, all of his shots are an artistic production, they are skillfully staged and edited in a graphic editor. Just tune in to a cheerful mood and appreciate the creativity and unusual sense of humor of the "reckless" dad, who invariably includes a mug with the inscription "The best father in the world" in the frame.

2. Single fathers of Kazakhstan.

This is a completely different story. Perhaps, this is one of the strongest emotional reports of our reports in recent times. Of course, there are not as many single fathers as there are single mothers. But they exist, and in Petropavlovsk they even united in the School of Fathers. This report is about them and their families.

3. Young fathers of Britain with their children.

Let's move to the UK. Here, photographer Edmund Clark captured infant fathers with their young children and asked to share his experience as a parent. These photographs were later exhibited at London Underground station Piccadilly Circus.

4. Daughter's portraits.

Bill Gekas is an Australian self-taught photographer. Bill's portfolio consists entirely of photographs of his five-year-old daughter, most of which are stylized as old paintings.

5. Cheerful lunch from a caring father.

One very creative dad puts his drawing skills to good use. David Laferrier has been drawing with markers on plain plastic sandwich bags since 2008. David, who works as a graphic designer, has more than a thousand of these drawings captured in photographs. The first "judges" of his drawings are his own children, for whom he draws funny monsters, dinosaurs and cartoon characters.

6. Childhood in the frame: dad photographs his son.

Photographer from the Netherlands Adrian Sommeling captures the magical moments of childhood in his pictures so that they remain not only half-forgotten memories, but also live photographs. With the help of his youngest son, Adrian recreates the world around him in photographs as each of us could see it at the age of 6.
