5 natural formations that look like human creations
By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/5-natural-formations-that-look-like-human-creations.htmlSometimes nature is able to show architectural talents no worse than man. We will talk about the strangest and most mysterious natural artifacts that are very easy to mistake for man-made.
A couple of tens of kilometers from Varna there is such a mystery of nature as bizarre stone pillars scattered over several hectares of territory. The age of the blocks is about 50 million years, and during this time many pillars took on rather strange shapes under the influence of the wind: they look like figures of people, animals, some of them seem to have human faces painted on them.
Theories about the appearance of figures are very different. Some believe that these are petrified trunks of ancient trees, others call limestone deposits from the bottom of the sea that have been eroded, and still others see the fishing of aliens in all this.
The Road of the Giants is without a doubt one of the most fascinating and mysterious works of nature. When you look at the huge stone piles of the correct form, you cannot believe that they formed here by themselves. About forty thousand six-sided basalt pillars are tightly fitted to each other and all together they form a giant springboard that stretches along two hundred meters of the coastline.
Scientists cannot give any intelligible explanation for the appearance of these stone honeycombs. Geologists only say that this miracle was formed about 50 million years ago and has been perfectly preserved to our times.
On the territory of Turkey, in Cappadocia, nature has also left very strange artifacts, which are called magic chimneys. Erosion has shaped the rock into what looks like either a domed tower or a chimney.
There are legends that they began to be called chimneys after they began to brew moonshine here during the dry law in force in Turkey in the fifties, heating the caves in a black way. The locals took the smoke coming out of the rocks for ghosts and began to call the rocks magical.
Moeraki are spherical boulders, hollow inside, scattered along the sandy beach of a small fishing village in New Zealand. It seems that these giant balls (some up to two meters in diameter) were left by very, very large children.
How can the sea and the wind work the stone so perfectly? There is no single guess. But there are a lot of theories about the appearance of stones. The most plausible is the assumption that Moeraki are cooled magma bubbles. In any case, it is better to believe in this than in the fact that these are the remains of an alien ship or the fossilized caviar of ancient fish.
In 2005, five giant pyramids were found in Bosnia by archaeologists. All of them are of the correct form, and, it would seem, there can be no doubt that they are man-made. The state allocated large funds for the study of this sensational discovery. Still: giant pyramids in the heart of Europe under the cover of forests and meadows!
But the alleged temples of the ancient Bosnians, unfortunately, turned out to be simple hills in the end, which took on such a symmetrical shape due to tectonic shifts.
