Since childhood, the guy loved to draw and create unusual stories with the help of seemingly simple illustrations. Now he has found his vocation in creating tattoos. Appreciate his unusual works with a double meaning!
Istanbul-based artist Vasif Daniel Kahraman began his creative career as a child, copying comic book and cartoon characters. Later, he began to create his own original characters on paper, worked as a designer, art director, and at the age of 16 he already collaborated with the well-known humorous magazine "Penguin" in Turkey.
For more than ten years, Vasif worked as an illustrator in such publications as "Lombak", "Kemik" and "Uykusuz". There he gained good experience, and communication with fellow artists helped him develop his unique graphic style, which was useful to him in practical work on tattoos.
{Now Vasif Kahraman is working as a tattoo artist, and his idea of drawing on the skin of customers those characters that they associate with the idea of their hidden ego looks quite interesting. These variations on the theme "who I really want to be" have a double visual series: the black pigment depicts the actual status of a person (from his point of view, often ironic), and the color pigment depicts the image of his hidden dream.
