15 cars created in one copy

By Pictolic https://pictolic.com/article/15-cars-created-in-one-copy.htmlIt's probably nice to have a car and know that there is no other like it anymore. And not because you yourself somehow especially tuned it, but because it is really unique - it was made according to your personal order and only in one copy.
There are, of course, exceptions when the model was created specifically for a car dealership or in honor of some memorable date. But it may also be that the car simply did not interest anyone and they did not produce it.
In any case, this is a post of admiration for automotive masterpieces that girls will also appreciate!

1 Maybach Exelero
Perhaps one of the most luxurious and expensive supercars in the world. Built in 2005 on the basis of the Maybach 57 limousine, the sports coupe was made in collaboration with the German tire manufacturer Fulda. In 2011, the car was bought for $8 million by American rapper Brian Williams, who goes by the pseudonym Birdman. And a year later, Daimler announced that it was liquidating the Maybach brand, which had only brought losses to the concern for the past few years.
2. Ferrari F12 Berlinetta TRS

5 Peugeot Onyx
The original French built a supercar with a "stone" name from unusual materials for such a business. In addition to the already familiar carbon fiber, copper, felt and paper were used in the design of the Peugeot Onyx. The French immediately announced that they would not mass-produce Onyx, however, they made it clear what stylistic direction they were going to follow in the future.
6 Ford GT90
The concept, shown at the 1995 Detroit Auto Show, was positioned by the manufacturer as "the most powerful supercar in the world." Indeed, the 12-cylinder unit of the car with 4 turbines produced 720 horsepower, and the claimed speed of the GT90 was about 407 km / h. By the way, the “supercar of supercars” Bugatti Veyron, which appeared 10 years after the Ford concept, had almost the same speed indicator.
7. Porsche 911 Panamericana
The car was a birthday present to Porsche CEO Ferry Porsche in 1989. It is noteworthy that its design was developed by Harm Lagaai, the same one who gave the world the legendary Porsche Boxster a few years later.
8 Cadillac Cien
It was designed and assembled specifically in honor of the 100th anniversary of the company. As befits a hero of the day, Cien was equipped with the latest technology at the time. It had an OnStar satellite communications system, a Communiport voice control system, a parking assistant, and a night vision system that could project an image of the road onto the windshield. Although all this did not come in handy in his life - the car is in the company's museum.
9. BMW Gran Coupe Pininfarina Lusso
By the name, it is easy to guess which companies had a hand in the creation of this car. The four-seater interior of the coupe reflects, as the creators say, a fusion of modern elegance and confident dynamics. It is trimmed with expensive leather and kauri wood.
10. "VAZ Rapan"
The domestic auto industry also has something to add to the list of piece copies of cars. VAZ Rapan is the first concept Russian electric car presented at the Paris Motor Show. It was released in 1998 in a single copy and, unfortunately, did not receive even a small-scale continuation. They say that they tried to involve RAO "UES of Russia" in the project to retrofit existing gas stations with special electric gas stations, but it was not interested.
11. "ZIS-Sport"
The ZIS-Sport roadster was built on the ZIS-101 chassis in 1939, also in one copy. A 6-liter engine with a capacity of 141 horsepower allowed it to accelerate to 162 km / h. The car received the approval of Stalin and Kaganovich, but after the war, the only copy of the ZIS-Sport disappeared without a trace.
12. Dartz PROMBRON AS1936 Monaco Red Diamond Edition
The car was made to order in a single copy in Latvia on the basis of Hummer, has an exclusive finish. This armored car was bought for $1.6 million. And this is the highest price paid for an SUV. This monster accelerates to a speed of 312 km / h, and gains 100 km in 5.2 seconds. It has a 6-liter engine with 552 "horses".
13. Mercedes-Benz GWA 300 SLC
An unknown wealthy man from Eastern Europe decided to treat himself to an exclusive car. He entrusted the realization of his dream to the Mercedes concern. His idea was to turn the legendary 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SC, of which no more than 100 copies were produced, into a modern roadster based on the SLS AMG. The result is a unique monster Gullwing America, the price of which is kept in strict confidence. The Mercedes-Benz GWA 300 SLC is powered by a V8 with 571 horsepower, a top speed of 315 km/h and a 0-60 mph time of 3.8 seconds.
14. Sbarro GT1
The Sbarro GT1 is one of a kind. It was assembled in honor of the victory of the Mercedes team in the Le Mans racing series in 1999. The car is equipped with a 7.4-liter V8 engine with 450 horsepower. Now, of course, it may not seem like much for such a huge engine, but at the time, such performance seemed just huge. The engine is mounted at the rear and right in the center of the reinforced composite body.
15 Lamborghini Egoista
In 2013, in celebration of its 50th anniversary, Lamborghini unveiled the amazing Lamborghini Egoista supercar. The main feature of the "anniversary" novelty is that the salon, or rather the "cockpit", is designed for only one person. The appearance, as well as the interior of the Egoista, echoes military aviation. The car is driven by a 5.2-liter V10 engine.
