15 best shots of 2014 from the extreme Forest Woodward

Many will envy Forest Woodward's schedule, because his life is one long journey. In the past year alone, Woodward, a rock climber, surfer and professional photographer, has traveled to half a dozen countries, including Spain, Peru and more than 20 US states. Here are 15 of the best shots he took this year.

Woodward's pictures don't even cause envy, because they seem to take you on a journey to amazing places.

1. The mouth of the Havasu River in Arizona. A little further on, turquoise water mixes with the muddy flow of the Colorado River. Narrow canyons are begging for a ride, but first make sure your boat is small enough to squeeze through the narrow gaps.

2. Woodward and his team spent a whole month rafting on the Colorado River, and rafting, according to him, turned out to be quite difficult. However, there were also moments when one could enjoy the picturesque views.
