Caribbean Sea from space: the image shows the Bahamas, Cuba, Jamaica and the southern part of Florida. The turquoise sea around the Bahamas contrasts with the dark blue ocean waters.
The floodplain of Cooper Creek in Australia. The floodplain of the drying river in some places reaches a width of 50 kilometers. Its territory is drawn by narrow channels that fill up during the flood season. It has been raining more often in this region lately, and the canals are filling up more often. The alternation of channels and wastelands makes the landscape truly Martian.
The sun is reflected in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Corsica is in the lower part of the picture, Sardinia is above, the coast of Tunisia and Algeria is visible to the south, and the Sahara Desert is visible on the horizon.
Clouds of dust from the Syrian desert cover Cyprus. A pale Moon is visible above the horizon, sinking into the shadow of the Earth.
The capital of Canada, Ottawa, lies at the confluence of three water streams – the Ottawa River, the Gatineau River and the Rideau Canal, which are clearly visible in the picture.
Great Lakes in winter. The picture shows three lakes located on the border of the USA and Canada - Upper, Huron, Erie and Ontario. The picture clearly shows the Kevino Peninsula jutting into Lake Superior, part of the Upper Michigan Peninsula, which is also clearly visible in the photo. 22% of the water surface is covered with ice - this is significantly lower than the average winter level of 55%.
The Kerguelen Archipelago is the most remote islands of the Earth from civilization, located in the huge water triangle of the Indian Ocean between Africa, Australia and Antarctica. There is only one small settlement on the islands – Port-au-Prince, where biologists and researchers study the local fauna and animal migration.
Maui, the second largest island of the Hawaiian archipelago. Rows of wind turbines are visible below – this is the largest wind farm in the state.
Kenya. The photo clearly shows the smoke from forest fires that engulfed the south of the country.
Paris at night.

A dust storm over Patagonia and southern Argentina is a phenomenon typical of these areas of South America during the drought season.
