1. Al-Hajarah, Yemen.

This house was built in 1974 by an engineer who was inspired by the beauty of the natural space. Because of its isolation, Kassa do Pendo was often the target of vandalism and looting. The unusual design attracts many tourists who are not limited to looking out the windows, but trying to get inside without any permission.

The village, known as Ponte Vecchio, or the Old Bridge, is located in Florence on the Arno River. This bridge was built in 1345. What makes it unique is that it is one of the few bridges on which there are shops and cafes.

8. Matmatou, Tunisia.

This place is located 355 kilometers from the capital of Tunisia. The locals dug deep holes in the ground and then dug tunnels between them, turning them into an underground settlement. The age of this town dates back to the ancient Punic Wars. Its existence remained unchanged almost until the 1960s.

9. Principality of Sealand.

This unusual place is located in neutral waters, not far from the British Isles. Some researchers call Sealand an unrecognized sovereign state, the smallest in the world. In fact, it's just an old sea fort.
