But some "useful tips", rather, complicate life and do not save time and effort. The following life hacks, so popular on the Internet, should be avoided.

1. The toaster won't make good grilled cheese sandwiches.

The life hack consists in putting the toaster on its side and stuffing two slices of bread covered with cheese into it. Not only is it a fire hazard, this method is simply ineffective. Oiled bread will stain the toaster with fat from the inside, and the resulting snack will not have the correct texture.
