Just as we are used to a huge number of pigeons on our streets, residents of other countries are used to their own "beggars". Who would have thought that in Thailand, a dozen monkeys can suddenly run up to you, and in the town of Nara in Japan, people quietly coexist with herds of deer?

Here are a dozen amazing places where "begging pigeons"live completely unusual for us.

The main attraction of the small island of Okunoshima in Japan are the long-eared locals-numerous wild rabbits. This place is also known as the Island of Rabbits, and it serves as a home for more than 700 furry inhabitants who roam freely around the territory and are happy to contact people.

New Zealand is called a paradise for dreamers and ... sheep. And this is not for nothing, because with a population of 4.4 million people, there are almost 34 million sheep in the country! That is, there are about 8 sheep for every inhabitant.
