Sunny Hills Confectionery
1. Location: Tokyo, Japan.

3. Architect: Kengo Kuma.
4. The Taiwanese company SunnyHills is one of the main confectionery chains in Southeast Asia. Its flagship product is pineapple pies. However, the network entered the new Japanese market only last year. The creation of the first store was entrusted to the minimalist Kengo Kuma, who prefers to use sustainable materials - a small building made of thin wooden slats resembles both bamboo thickets and pineapple.
VitraHaus

8. The owners of the furniture company Vitra are not devoid of good taste: in West Germany, the company has its own campus, all buildings of which are designed by famous architects. One of the most spectacular buildings of the complex is the VitraHaus home furniture showroom: the Swiss Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron ironically rethought the understanding of what a modern building might look like, putting it together from a dozen archetypal gable houses.
Emporia

12. Building-attraction: the year before last, one of the largest Swedish malls was opened on the outskirts of Malmö. The architect Gert Wingård decided to diversify the usually dull look of commercial buildings and made the main facade in the form of a piece of melted amber. The building immediately became the dominant feature of the new suburb.

16. Apple has long been known for its high-tech stores - over a dozen years, more than 400 retail outlets have opened in 16 countries around the world. Some of them have an iconic status - for example, an underground store on Fifth Avenue in New York, the entrance of which is decorated in the form of a ten-meter glass cube with the emblem of a bitten apple. You might think that Apple Stores were created by Norman Foster, but in fact, the architect of almost all stores is the American Peter Bohlen, who came up with the minimalist but luxurious design of the network.
Prada

20. Fashion houses can afford to collaborate with architectural superstars - Prada stands out in this one. Back in the early 2000s, Rem Koolhaas suggested that the company's unusual stores be used not so much for selling goods as for global advertising of the brand, and this innovation only increased revenue. However, the most interesting Prada store was created not by the Dutch architect, but by the Swiss Herzog and de Meuron: the Tokyo boutique looks like a crystal.

28. The world's largest store of Mattel, the manufacturer of Barbie dolls, is located in Shanghai. It looks like a huge showcase and contains not only shelves with hundreds of dolls, but also cafes and play areas.
Puma

32. The Puma mobile store is an unexpected example of modern sustainable architecture using recycled materials. The three-story building is assembled from a dozen containers, it is easy to modify and transport from place to place. The shop managed to visit Stockholm and Boston.
Hanjie Wanda Square

36. A luxury shopping mall in Wuhan, China, designed by the Dutch at UNStudio, is covered in a huge media façade with an impressive backlighting system. To create it, aluminum panels and three million metal balls with built-in LEDs were used.
Ferrari

39. Architect: Iosa Ghini Associates.
The Ferrari flagship store was created from the ground up to capture the spirit of the company. Two racing cars are hidden behind the showcase of a small building, and inside, visitors to the factory can buy souvenirs and clothes with company symbols.
