1. Residential developments in Mexico City, Oscar Ruiz.

“A few years ago I worked as a helicopter pilot for a local radio station. We needed to fly over Mexico City looking for news. I remember flying to the highway connecting Mexico City with the neighboring state of Puebla, and on the way back, this residential complex, which seemed to have no end, caught my attention. I decided to fly a little over it. This complex is located on the eastern outskirts of Mexico City. The incredible midday sun reflecting off the thousands of newly painted houses looked so beautiful, and the lower I flew the better the angle. Then I took out my camera, opened the helicopter window and took a couple of shots.”

2. Rolling hills in the Palouse Valley, Washington, USA.

Photographer Michael Brandt. “This vibrant shot was taken at a place called Steptu Butt, an amazing geographical landmark in the heart of Palouse. This is a large hill that offers panoramic views of a unique hilly landscape, which gives photography endless compositions and ever-changing landscapes in different seasons. From the end of April to the beginning of September, photographers from all over the world come here to enjoy the uniqueness of this region.”

3. Aerial photo of the volcanic rivers of Iceland. Photographer Andrey Ermolaev.

“Iceland is a wonderful country. I would even say that this is a real paradise for all lovers of photography. But for me, the real discovery was the aerial view of the rivers that flowed on the black volcanic sand. This is an incredible combination of colors, lines and patterns. The photo shows the mouth of a river flowing into the ocean. A little further upstream, a yellow stream flows into the river, but the yellow streams cannot compete with the main color. Traces from cars are clearly visible on the black sand, so you can judge the size from them. It's just a river, just a volcano, just our planet."

4. James and Kelly Stone captured this amazing shot of tree-covered dunes in Lassen National Park.

“Colorful dunes on top of a hill in Lassen National Park in California. These colors are the result of volcanic activity. Beauty is simply mesmerizing. The photo looks like an oil painting. Divine Tapestry on Earth."

5. Colorful lake Chaohu.

Don't you think that this man is rowing down the river, where someone has spilled paint? But this is a real photo of a heavily polluted lake in Anhui Province, Taiwan. The green matter on the surface is algae. Photographer Jianan Yu took this shot of Chaohu Lake, one of eight lakes and rivers in China that the government plans to "cure".

Mount Huangshan, Anhui Province, China. The photo was taken from the peak of the Beginning of Vera after the morning snowfall. The lingering fog turned this photo into a real Chinese painting.”

7. "Fire waves" of Southern California.

Californian photographer David Orias has taken several photographs of waves that look like oil paintings. Orias uses long exposures and telephoto lenses to get these amazing shots. “Southern California has its own fire season and sometimes creates unusual conditions for shooting with strange orange light in the morning when the sunlight is filtered and diffused. This creates unusual and, for some viewers, unrealistic colors. I work with base colors to create a piece of art."

8. Graphic designer Denis Colet took a series of photographs called "My watercolor box."

This collection contains photographs of reflections in the river and lake near his country cottage. “I love the creativity of water and I love being surprised. I have taken thousands of photographs of reflections and they are all unique. Basically, these are reflections of trees, wild flowers, algae, vegetation, sky and clouds. But the photo changes depending on the wind, light, current, river level and sometimes its depth. It always amazes me. The ripples on the water make the reflections look like oil paintings that Van Gogh or Monet himself had a hand in."

9. "Painted Ladies" is a beautiful photo of three girls in rainbow skirts.

Photographer Barbara Cole. This self-taught photographer not only defies reality, she does it with a Polaroid! “I fell in love with Polaroid back in 1987. I've been experimenting with camera and lighting, and I love the mood these colors create. However, in the end, it became too difficult for me to work within this simple chamber, and I left it. But then someone helped me adapt my camera to work in the studio."

10. This photo was taken in Namibia. An orange dune dyed by the morning sun and acacia trees gnawed by camels.

Photographer Frans Lanting. “The picture was taken at dawn, when the warm light of the morning sun illuminated a huge sand dune dotted with white grass, and the white bottom of the clay earth was still in shadow. It appears blue because it reflects the color of the sky above... The perfect moment came when the sun reached the bottom of the sand dune. I used telephoto lenses to keep perspective."
