Cosplay is turning from a niche hobby into a fairly massive activity. However, the exact elaboration of the image can be too expensive, and many prefer "budget cosplay" with simple props, when the result is more funny than similar to the original.
One of these bloggers is Sine Benjaphorn from Thailand, who combined two of her favorite activities: cosplay and food. She recreates the costumes of stars and models from dishes and products that are always at hand: fruits, vegetables and spices. "I like to eat, so I decided that there should be food in my costumes. Each costume brings me a lot of fun, and in the end, my loved ones and I eat them," the girl said.
The 22-year-old student became famous in Thailand thanks to parodies of costumes of local and Western celebrities — from Rihanna to Kim Jong-un.
Mom and aunt help the cosplayer create delicious outfits. You can't do without them here: for example, one dress took more than 30 kilograms of breadfruit.
Initially, cosplay for Sayn was a way to promote her plus-size clothing store, but it seems that she got involved and is not going to give up a new hobby.
