A map of reality - a term from psychology - is a unique idea of the world of each person, which is formed from his individual perceptions and individual experience. This is a certain model of the world, built in the brain of every person. From the reality surrounding us, we learn that this is a chair, they sit on it, there are seven days in a week, and a wedding ring is worn on the ring finger of the right hand.
However, the reality maps of different people and peoples do not coincide due to many cultural, historical and social differences. Left- and right-hand traffic in different countries, different meanings of the same gestures and colors, features of geographical designations, and so on.

1. The Yuki Indians did not count with fingers (fives), but with the spaces between the fingers (fours).

13. The “disposition” of the past and the future that is familiar to us: what has already passed is behind us, the future is ahead. But some Amazonian tribes perceive the future as something behind their backs (after all, we don’t know what it is yet), but the past, in their opinion, is in front of us: we have already seen it and know it, we can imagine it.
14. The postal address in Russia is written in the following sequence: country, city, street, house, apartment, person. In Europe and America, the opposite is true: a person, an apartment, a house, a street, a city, a country.
15. We imagine death as a gloomy old woman with a scythe, and the Mexicans - as a cheerful skeleton that smiles and jangles bones.
16. Maps of the world printed in the Southern Hemisphere, for example in Australia, will be considered upside down for us.
