2. Here, at an altitude of 3,657 m, the entire plain is covered with a small layer of water, while the water surface lies completely calm here, because there is practically no wind over the salt marsh. And this calmness and calmness allow the sky to be fully reflected in this huge mirror.

“The water here is only a couple of centimeters, but it is everywhere you look,” says the 29-year-old photographer.

3. Several photos show the photographer's wife practicing yoga asanas.

“The high plateau is an incredibly exotic area. Rain and melting snow often cause the Uyuni salt marsh to “flood” with water. When the wind calms down and Uyuni fills with water, you get one of the most magical and fabulous landscapes in the world. I was also incredibly lucky with the clouds,” says the photographer.

4. “Uyuni is a special place. These photos remind me that there are still incredibly beautiful places in this world. I am filled with a sense of awe." To get to the Uyuni Salt Flats, one has to take an overnight bus ride from La Paz in Bolivia along a long route and often has to get there on muddy and bumpy roads.

5. “I think the scenery here is so incredibly beautiful because this plateau is far from the cities. And at an altitude of more than 3000 m, the air is protected from pollution.”

6. “Uyuni Salt Flats is quite a popular destination for tourists visiting Bolivia, but due to its remoteness and time commitment, people often change their minds about going here.”

7. “The main city of this high plateau is Uyuni, a small and unattractive town full of tour operators offering tours to the salt marsh. The city of Uyuni is a couple of hours drive from the salt marsh of the same name, and the only accommodation option nearby is the so-called "salt hotel". He's amazing because he's practically made of salt, including his furniture."

8. “Almost all tourists check into this hotel at the same time and then leave before sunset. But those who decide to stay here for the night can admire the sunset and sunrise on the salt marsh to their heart's content – an unforgettable sight.”

9. “Although living in a hotel is not easy: this small experience was enough for many to forget for a long time about the desire to spend the night again in a salty hotel. Salt was everywhere - on shoes, on clothes, in every pore of your body. Still, the Uyuni salt marsh was worth it!”
