Typhoon Ramassan hits the Philippines
Powerful typhoon Ramassan, which has the third category of five in strength, is raging in the Philippines. As a result of the natural disaster, at least ten people died, 373 thousand were evacuated. The wind speed in the center of the typhoon reached 205 kilometers per hour. The hurricane toppled trees and power lines. There is no electricity in nine provinces. In the capital, government offices, financial markets and schools were suspended for the whole day. As of the afternoon, the wind began to subside, but movement around the city is difficult due to fallen trees.
