To whom is the wave, to whom the mother is dear

Categories: Photo project | Water |

Photographer Matty Smith captures amazing shots underwater, above water, and sometimes all at once. He says that he is fascinated by "the uncertainty of what lies beneath the surface of the water", as well as "the transitional moment between the underwater and surface worlds." In this way, Matty explains, he combines a wet and unfamiliar world with a dry and more familiar world for non-divers.
