Kevin Cooley traveled around Los Angeles and New York at night to pick up film crews. He was attached a few blocks from the filmmakers and used the light of their powerful lamps to create his own night landscapes with an unnaturally bright mystical light. The resulting series was called "Night for Night" by the photographer.
