The project design of the hopper from the Studio Sergey Makhno Architects
Bureau Sergey Makhno has designed a project of a comfortable underground bunker in which to survive the tough times postpandemic the world.
Plan B is a hopper, located at a depth of 15 m, which is the comfort and beauty not inferior to any other ground of residence. Outside, the concrete structure looks like a modern art Museum or even a military base, equipped with a helipad on the roof, but the most interesting still hiding inside.
The design consists of several levels: the dwelling, the floor with the water purification system and generator layer with electrical equipment and the well.
All systems — water, Sewerage, closed ventilation system with heat recovery, fence and cleaning the air in underground building offline. Whatever happens on earth, life in the bunker will continue.
In Plan B can accommodate two or three families, and staff with their families.
But if necessary, the project can be revised and for more people.
The task of the architects was to create the illusion of being in an ordinary house, that is why there appeared a few led domes that mimic the natural light as well as highly sensitive screens of the Windows in the bedrooms.
Through a system of "smart house" on these panels you can change the panorama and Wake up with views of snow-capped mountains, on the streets of the city.
The common areas are as close as possible to how we used to live on earth. Here there is a large dining table where all residents can come together.
In addition, there is a library, cinema with a collection of the best movies of all time, and a living room, reminiscent of a cozy apartment in Minsk.
The "window" is another light pattern, which is necessary in order not to confuse day and night.
The architects also took care of the Pets: for the dog walk there is a special area with trees, grass and stones.
In addition, in the bunker you can ride your bike on the special tracks, but also to exercise and meditations.
