The Palace of the Imam Yahya in Yemen
The Palace of Dar al Hajar standing on top of an impregnable rock, is a very famous landmark of Yemen. In this country there are many interesting places and monuments.

Multi-storey Palace of Dar al Hajar served as the summer residence of Imam Yahya. The building itself is an extended reconstruction of the Palace built in this place in 1786 year, which in turn was built on the site of even more ancient buildings.
Imam Yahya died at the hands of murderers in 1948 during a coup.
