The English Kennel Club is the world's oldest kennel organization, which was founded in 1873 to register purebred dogs and breeds. Every year the Kennel Club holds a prestigious competition for the best photos of dogs. This year, 10,000 photographs taken by photographers from 74 countries claimed to win.
There are 10 categories in the competition, including "Puppies", "Guide Dogs", "Shelter Dogs", "Service dogs", and the most touching nomination is "Man's best Friend". Photos of the winners of the contest will be displayed in the Kennel Club building in London.
This year the main prize was won by Maria Davison from Portugal with a photo of a black puppy that lay down at the feet of her friend.
