Steve McCurry is an American photojournalist, the author of the famous photograph of the “Afghan girl”, which brought him worldwide fame, appearing on the cover of National Geographic magazine back in 1985. He spent 30 years and changed 20 passports, traveling and taking amazing pictures in various parts of the world. The photographer's new book, Steve McCurry's Untold: The Stories Behind the Photographs, comes out this September, featuring entries from his diaries and photos of Steve at work.
