The most beautiful horse in the world — the black stallion Frederick the Great
Without a doubt, this beauty is often called the most beautiful horse in the world. His name is Frederick the Great, in honor of the king of Prussia, which was in power in the eighteenth century. And although the black stallion haven't won any awards, its beauty certainly lives up to such a pompous name.
Frederick the Great (Frederik The Great) belongs to the Friesian breed, which a few centuries ago brought in Friesland, a province in the North of the Netherlands.
During its existence, the breed was twice on the verge of extinction. Only thanks to the Dutch breeders managed to save Friesian horses: and if these horses were used as a sled, then today they play a more decorative role.
However, some individual instances are still used for harness: friezes included in the team of horses of the crew of the Queen of great Britain, and at least twice used in big events (opening of Parliament and the opening of the world equestrian games in the Hague).
Frederick the Great is owned by Pinnacle Friesians, which is located in the Central part of the United States. The horse has its own page on Facebook (and more than 15 thousand friends), and has its own blog where posted new photos of Frederic and news about his life.
People fascinated by their beauty, have also created a separate website where you can upload photos or artwork associated with Frederick. We can say that Frederick is the real star, with their photo shoots, shows and fans.
