"The most armed man in the USA" sold more weapons in three weeks than in eight months before
71-year-old Mel Bernstein (Mel Bernstein) is the owner of the Land of the Dragon gun store in Colorado Springs. Among other things, he sells the same weapons that were used in Las Vegas, Texas and at Columbine School in 1999. The man began to be called the most armed man in the country after he demonstrated thousands of powerful grenade launchers and machine guns from his collection.
Bernstein claims that he has sold more guns in the last three weeks than in the previous eight months. This is due to the fact that in a month Americans have experienced two of the most massive shootings in the history of the country: in Las Vegas and Sutherland Springs.
Source: Daily MailThe Dragon Land Ranch includes a gun shop, six shooting ranges, a museum of military equipment, a paintball club, a motocross track and the house of Bernstein himself. The seller claims that there are 4,000 weapons in his collection.
After two cases of the most mass shooting in American history, Bernstein faced record sales. The seller said that two days after the tragedy in Las Vegas, in which 58 people died and more than 500 were injured, the store sold out all stocks of devices for firing bursts. They cost $185 each.
Half of the weapons stocks in the United States (which is 265 million weapons) belong to 3% of Americans. On average, there are 17 items per owner.
A representative of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives could not confirm that Bernstein owns the largest number of weapons in the United States: according to him, there is no database with this information.
Because of the name of the store, Bernstein is called a Dragon. His wife, Terry Flannell, died on her own property while filming a commercial for the Discovery Channel: a woman was killed by two smoke bombs moving at a speed of 240 kilometers per hour. Now Bernstein keeps four female mannequins at home, explaining that he needs someone to talk to and share problems with.
