The life of an ordinary prostitute
Danish photographer Marie Hald follows the life of Bonnie, a prostitute with 20 years of experience.
Bonnie is a 38—year-old mother of three children, an honest taxpayer and an experienced sex worker. In the photo project, Marie shows the viewer the usual everyday life of Bonia — her work, life, children, church, rest.
Bonnie didn't like it, but she needed the money.
2. Bonnie works under the pseudonym Patricia to separate her professional activities from her personal life.
3. Bonnie's 14-year-old son Oliver got involved with a bad company and got into trouble. After that, Bonnie decided to send him to a private school in the Caribbean.
4. Bonnie's 6-year—old son Noah thinks his mother is a housekeeper. The older children know what she really does for a living. Their classmates also know about this, who mock them by asking how much it costs to spend the night with their mother.
5. After putting the children to bed, Bonnie goes about her own business and plans the next day.
6. Bonnie rents a small house in a nearby village and works there from 9 to 16 hours. After that, she picks up the children from school.
7. Since prostitution was legalized in Denmark, Bonnie has registered as an entrepreneur and pays taxes.

15. Bonnie says that she would be happy to earn in another way, but her job is what she knows how to do best, and besides, she likes to give pleasure to her clients.
16. Oliver leaves for school in the Caribbean.
17. Bonnie hopes that her children will never work in the sex industry. But if it does happen, then she will definitely share her experience with them so that they avoid the problems that she herself faced.
