On January 12, all progressive humanity celebrates 18 years since the first flash mob "Metro without pants". The action took place in the New York subway in 2002 and immediately became popular. Every year new cities joined the event, but I have never seen a flash mob on such a scale as this January. It is known that in 2020, more than 10 cities with metro systems joined the 19th campaign.
Everyone can participate in the fun action. To do this, you just need to take off your pants and calmly go down to the subway. The main task at the same time is to behave as naturally as possible and withstand the views and comments of other passengers.
Despite the fact that the action looks spontaneous, its participants are carefully organized. All the nuances are discussed in special groups in social networks and everyone knows their place. On January 12, 2020, the New York participants of the "Metro without pants" gathered at 15:00 at Foley Square. After that, everyone was divided into groups and each team received its own subway line and a car in which it had to pass under the disapproving or, conversely, enthusiastic glances of fellow travelers.
All participants of the flash mob are instructed and diligently pretend that they are not familiar with each other. In addition, everyone is provided with information that it is necessary to answer the questions of curious passengers.
There is also a certain set of rules, the most important point of which can be called the requirement for appearance. He must not offend or shock passengers, including minors. The organizers of the "Metro without pants" emphasize that the purpose of the action is to cause surprise and smiles, not hatred and aggression.
