The dog that saved the family during the tornado, returned home after two months
After the tornado that separated the family pet from its owners, the dog named Bella was searched for 54 days, but in vain. However, almost two months later, Bella found her own favorite home!
An Australian shepherd named Bella saved her owners when a tornado hit their home. Bella alerted the family to the tornado just in time for her owners, Tennessee residents Eric and Faith Johnson, to hide in the bathtub. They weren't hurt, but their house was destroyed, and most importantly, Bella was missing. The inconsolable owners scrambled to find the dog, but it was nowhere to be found.
The search lasted 54 days. They wandered around the neighborhood, going further and further away, hoping that Bella was lost, running away from home. Fortunately, Eric and Faith soon received proof that Bella was alive: neighbors saw her near the city. They began to leave scraps of their old clothes everywhere, hoping that the dog would recognize their scent and wait for them.
Eric and Faith told everyone they knew that they were looking for a dog. And, in the end, word of mouth worked. When almost two months had passed since Bella's disappearance, their friend Sarah Romayne, who organized the search for animals missing after the hurricane, received a call from an employee of a dog barbershop in the city and reported that he had seen Bella in front of his establishment.
Sarah immediately called Eric and arrived at the scene. She managed to lure Bella with the bait, and the dog was brought home-scared and emaciated, but alive and well.
The whole family was happy to be reunited, and first of all, Bella herself!
Bella was immediately washed and fed. Fortunately, she did not need the help of doctors.
After long wanderings, Bella finally got the opportunity to sleep in the master's bed, as she was used to.
Now the Johnsons ' plan is to restore the house destroyed by the hurricane, so that life becomes as happy as before the tornado.
Eric, Faith, and their children agree that without Bella, their lives would never have gone back to normal.
