The bride forced the photographer to return the money for removing extra pounds from the pictures and calling the couple "terribly fat"
The wedding photographer spoiled the couple's mood by retouching their pictures to make the young people look slimmer, and then also called them "terribly fat" on social networks. The client accused the photographer of "fatshaming".
Source: IndependentKatie Lipold and her fiance have planned a wedding for May 2018. In search of a wedding photographer, the girl turned to Facebook for help and received about 20 responses. Photographer Linda Silvestra offered to shoot the engagement and wedding for $ 600, and Katie agreed.
Lipold admitted that she didn't need an engagement photo shoot, but since she was in the package, she needed to hold it. Katie said that the photo shoot went great.
However, when Katie saw the pictures, she was very upset. Some of them were blurry, others were shot at a strange angle, and in one photo Katie and her fiance did not look like themselves.
The couple contacted the photographer to express dissatisfaction with her work. Linda said that the contract could be terminated, but she would not return the advance. Soon Katie found a Facebook post on behalf of Linda, in which the photographer talked about her work with the couple.
The post was later deleted, but Katie insists on returning the deposit.
Katie contacted reporters to warn other newlyweds. The photographer refuses to return the money, as she spent time shooting, but she still apologized to the couple for Photoshop.
