The best works from the "Bird Photographer of the Year" contest
For four years in a row, the Nature Photographers Ltd. photo library and the British Ornithology Foundation have been holding a competition for the title of the best Bird Photographer of the Year. The competition presents seven categories, as well as two special awards. The main prize is five thousand pounds (approximately 439 thousand rubles).
This year it was a special success, bringing together several thousand participants from different countries and continents. The winner of 2018 was the work of Peruvian photographer Pedro Zhark "Black Friday", which depicts American flamingos.
