Stefano Boeri is an Italian architect with a passion for innovative ecological structures. He plans to build a 117-meter residential building in Lausanne, Switzerland, which will be the first building in the world to be covered with evergreen trees.

The 36-story green tower, called La Tour des Cedres (Tower of the Cedars), will contain more than 100 trees, 6,000 bushes and 18,000 plants. A total of three thousand square meters of green space.

Plants will protect the house from winds, dust and noise pollution.
